Baselworld 2015 Day 1: The Glashutte Original Senator Observer

Hot out of the oven is Glashutte’s latest Baselworld 2015 release, the revamped and ready for action Senator Observer. Built to withstand extreme weather conditions, the Glashutte Original Senator Observer continues its tradition as a fundamental timepiece for those on the rougher side of the fence. 

Powered by a not so common automatic movement for an observer watch, the Glashutte Original Senator Observer is waterproof up to 5 bar, and has a power reserve function of 55 hours. 

Equipped with a 44MM diameter sized case, the Senator Observer features sapphire crystal glass, hours and minutes hands, small seconds sub dial, power reserve indicator, panorama date, and a watchband made of leather.  

The Glashutte Original Senator Observer will be available in stainless steel with either a black watch strap made of Louisiana Leather, or black calfskin watch band.

Tradition Continued: The Glashutte PanoMaticCounter XL on Louisiana Alligator Watchband

Surpassing more than 165 years of quality craftsmanship, the Glashutte PanoMaticCounter XL is watch making tradition continued. 

Engined by an automatic movement, the PanoMaticCounter XL is equipped with hours and minutes display, 30 minute display, subsidiary seconds display, hacking seconds, 2 digit counter, flyback chronograph with stop seconds, and panorama date.  

Measuring out to a 44MM diameter sized case, the Glashutte PanoMaticCounter XL has sapphire crystal glass, transparent screwed case back, 5 ATM water resistance, 42 hour power reserve, and a Louisiana alligator watch strap.

What distinguishes the PanoMaticCounter XL among other timepieces is its unique 2 digit counter compilation, activated with three push controls to move the counter forward or backward one unit at a time.
