Measuring out to a 40mm steel case, the Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 is waterproof to an extraordinary 1220 meters, or 4000 feet, has a screw down case back, escape valve, and screw down triplock waterproofness winding crown.
Running on a
perpetual mechanical self winding movement, the Rolex Sea-Dweller is equipped with instantaneous date, scratch impervious sapphire crystal glass, stop seconds for impeccable accurate timing, unidirectional rotatable 60 minute ceramic bezel, steel watch band, and center hour, minute, and seconds hands.
Alongside the clever glidelock extension system on the Sea-Dweller watch strap, now divers can wear their watches outside of their diving suits.
